The Pupil Personnel Services Department includes special education teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, speech pathologists, Behavior Consultants, nurses, and school social workers, each of whom assists in creating an educational environment conducive to academic, personal, social and career growth of all students.
Identification, Evaluation And Classification of Students With Disabilities
The À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ undertakes a variety of activities in order to locate and identify all students with disabilities who reside in the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. As part of this process, upon enrollment in school, every parent or person in parental relation to the student is notified of their rights regarding referral and evaluation of their child for the purpose of special education services or programs. Should you have any questions with regard to the referral and evaluation process, you may access the Parent’s Guide to Special Education in New York State for Children Ages Three though Twenty-One available on the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s website at threevillagecsd.org or contact the appropriate À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s Chairperson on Special Education:
